Our company, leader in Uruguay in its area, is the eldest specialized on commercial refrigeration.

CUDER S.A. was founded on September 1st, 1959, product of the fusion of two companies dedicated to commercial cold since 1951, “TIMER” y “VILTER”, whose directors were Alfredo and Guillermo Bongoll brothers respectively.

We started as a service company, mainly providing technical services dedicated to repairing and maintenance of commercial refrigerators and the installation of equipment in ancient oak furniture that the carpenters shops built for us.

During the 70’ decade we also aimed to production of furniture for commercial show cases and refrigerators in our plant, covered basically of stainless steel.

Finally, from 1980, we started to import this type of merchandise mainly from KOXKA S.A. and CORECO (Spain), TECFRIGO and COLDMASTER (Italy), and HUSSMANN (México/Brasil). Nowadays, we also commercialized regional equipment under the sign TIMER.

This long trajectory contributes with the fact that today, most of the refrigerating equipment installed both in Montevideo and inland has CUDER’s seal.
